Small Businesses for the travel bug

Sharing with you some of my favorite small businesses that are helping me stay connected to the world, supporting local economies, and doing good. Small local businesses need our help more than ever right now. While we are not traveling at the moment the way we used to, supporting small businesses are creative ways to channel our wanderlust while doing good.  These also have great models of sustainability and giving back.

A few other ways to support a small travel business

Consider supporting small businesses or travel company by purchasing gift cards or future credits to local hotels or tour operators or your fav travel advisor.  This will help keep you eager to go and keep that little business open until travel resumes.

Consider making online purchases from a local shop, coffee roaster, or boutique shop that you have visited and loved in the past.  (I personally like to keep travel memories alive by purchasing coffee beans from my favorite roasters discovered during traveling …I always make a point of finding the best coffee in town wherever I go).

I also like to send family and friends gifts from small local businesses where I live.  This allows them to enjoy a little piece of my town and keeps them dreaming of visiting.

Enjoy the season friends…and cheers to future travels!

p.s. Have another favorite small business or you are a small business that can inspire the wanderlust in us? Send me a message to be possibly added to our list!
